Starring Harvey Keitel, Mira Sorvino and William DeFoe, it is the story of the love and magic shared between a jazz saxophonist and an aspiring actress. Auster is the author of The New York Trilogy, The Music of Chance and Mr. Vertigo, among a substantial list of other novels, including his latest, The Book of Illusions.
