How to Add Romance to Life. Adding romance to your life is as easy as paying attention and following a few steps. The best reason to read Romance for Life, an anthology of lesbian love stories, is that 100% of the profits are being donated to breast cancer charitiesThe proceeds from Romance for LIFE will be donated, in the authors collective ... Not withstanding the reason behind its publication, Romance for Life ~~~~~~~~~~~~ terrina

@ Terrina: That's really cool that 100% of the profits are being donated to the cancer charities. I know some organizations who donate books to cancer charities but they are considered controversial by some people because they don't donate 100% in charities. They only donate a part of their resources or profits to charities. A small portion of proceeds from 'Deadly Secrets' (romance novel) by Leeann Burke are being donated to Breast Cancer Research whereas; Got Books also claims that it has made a donation of more than 8,000 good-condition records and videotapes to the American Cancer Society. Cancer treatments like breast cancer, , lung cancer, and etc are increasingly being supported by these sort of donations.

@ Allen Non curable 'cancer' is horrible because one is living, knowing the fact that the person has to die and leave this world pretty soon. In UK there are about 2 million people suffering from cancer, some of them are suffering from , a non curable type of cancer because by the time symptoms appear the cancer is in its last stages. In US about 2,000 to 3,000 people are diagnosed per year to be suffering from mesothelioma. there are groups, governments, organizations and people at individual level are supporting cancer. One can give there donations to cancer patients on following websites. www.shaukatkhanum.org.pk www.nci.nih.gov www.macmillan.org.uk www.cancer.org donate.bccancerfoundation.com

@Allen Dead Girls are Easy was great.. a nice take-off on the whole 'Sixth Sense' concept.. I also loved Lessons of Desire by Madeline Hunter, a well written yarn.. Lord Elliot Rothwell is quite the character.. almost makes me want to take up again! I'd also say that Twilight belongs on this list, for Young Adult Romance, instead of Wicked Lovely. Don't get me wrong, Melissa Marr is great at characterizations, her plots just need a bit of work. Oh well, I guess I need to be on the judge panel for the Rita awards :D Actually the only two books I haven't read from the RITA 2008 list are Ice Blue by Anne Stuart and Lover Revealed by JR Ward. Never was much for paranormal romance, but I'll probably be picking up Ice Blue sometime this week.
