One Book, One Philadelphia is dedicated to promoting reading, literacy, library usage, and community building throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. In order to encourage greater dialogue about What Is the What, the 2008 featured reading selection, we have created this space as an open forum for discussion and updates on One Book programs.

The One Book, One Philadelphia Blog is part of the Free Library of Philadelphia and is currently maintained by the Communications Office.

Under each post, to the right, is a link that reads "Send Us Your Feedback." Click on this link, and you will be directed to a short form where we encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions. Don't forget to include your name and email address. (Comments submitted without a return email address will not be posted.) Your comments may be posted on the One Book, One Philadelphia Blog in whole or in part. Posted reader comments will never include full names or email addresses.

While all of your comments will be posted directly to the blog, the Free Library of Philadelphia reserves the right to remove or edit postings for language. Please be patient and trust our instincts on this. While blogs can be excellent forums for community discussion, they can also sometimes become catchalls for rants and ramblings that are not pertinent to the Free Library or One Book, One Philadelphia's mission. If you submit reference questions in this area, they will be forwarded to the appropriate Library staff. If you submit comments with curses or threatening language, they will be thrown into a bottomless pit.
