For the thousands of visitors to the Philadelphia Book Festival, the Street Fair of Literary Exhibitors is a major highlight.The streets surrounding the Central Library are filled with bookstores, publishers, cultural organizations, and independent authors selling their books, sharing their missions, promoting literacy, and meeting readers from throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. Many exhibitors present special in-booth activities, special discounts, readings, and give-a-ways, while live outdoor music, street performances, and food concessionaires enhance the celebratory atmosphere.
