Literary Salon - Barnaby Rudge
Rare Book Department at Parkway Central Library
Join us for a discussion of Barnaby Rudge, first published weekly in Master Humphrey's Clock after the conclusion of The Old Curiosity Shop. Dickens's first historical novel, it tells the story of the anti-Catholic Gordon Riots, which convulsed London in 1780, intertwined with a murder mystery.
Dickens Literary Salons are free and open to the public but registration is required. Please visit http://flpbarnaby.eventbrite.com to reserve a space.
