Notes: Henry Ford in later years at the wheel of the 1901 Sweepstakes racer. The young man on the running board is replicating the posture of Edward Spider Huff, Ford's racing mechanic, who rode crouched on the floor board during the Grosse Pointe encounter with Alexander Winton on October 10, 1901.
