Notes:
Printed. The name in Fraktur, printed in red ink, is in the center of the document. Above it are woodcut prints of two sailing vessels in square frames and a decorative border. Below the name is a winged angel head. It is flanked by two oval frames that hold coats of arms depicting a person with a walking stick and a crown. On the sides are a lyre with two crossed trumpets and vines. See FLP 418 for a related document with the name Johann Wilhelm Hoffmann printed on it and the date 1750.
The woodcut of the lyre with crossed trumpets was used by Christoph Saur on a 1740 book of sermons by George Whitefield. Further linking this document to Saur is the use of both the lyre woodcut and a floral woodcut on the Johann Wilhelm Hoffman document that also appears on other Saur imprints.
