Opening with Cupid shooting his arrow

The title of this text translates to "On the love and favor or God, neighbors, and other things and on the form of life." Albertanus of Brescia, a thirteenth-century legal scholar, wrote it for one of his sons as a treatise on moral and ethical behavior.
