Steven Spielberg

Steven Spielberg is the winner of three Academy Awards including Best Director for Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Schindler's List (1993). Spielberg has directed more than 40 films spanning many genres, and is widely considered the most influential director working in Hollywood today. Spielberg is also the recipient of two Lifetime Achievement Awards from the American Film Institute, in addition to awards from the Directors Guild of America and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. He is the co-founder of DreamWorks Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, and founder of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
