Jeffrey Wright (Jean-Michel Basquiat)

Jeffrey Wright’s first acting experiences were on the stage, appearing in off-Broadway plays in New York and Washington, D.C. In 1994, Wright won the Tony Award for Best Actor in recognition of his performance of a gay nurse in Tony Kushner’s play, Angels in America.

Wright has starred in a number of supporting and primary roles, including Syriana, and recent characters include General Colin Powell in Oliver Stone’s W. and Muddy Waters in Cadillac Records.

David Bowie (Andy Warhol)

David Bowie first made his way onto the pop culture radar as the androgynous rock star Ziggy Stardust. One of the best-selling rock acts to come out of the United Kingdom, Bowie is best known for hits such as “China Girl” and “Under Pressure,” a collaboration with the group Queen.

Bowie has starred in film roles throughout his career, including Nagisa Oshima’s Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence (1984), Martin Scorsese’s The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), and as inventor Nikola Tesla in The Prestige (2006) by Christopher Nolans.

Parker Posey (Mary Boone)

Named “Queen of the Indies” by Time magazine, Parker Posey has appeared in numerous independent films, including director Christopher Guest’s series of mockumentaries: Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003), Waiting for Guffman (2006), and For Your Consideration (2006). In addition, Posey has also starred in big-budget films such as Blade: Trinity (2004) and has leant her vocal talents to characters on the animated series Futurama and The Simpsons.

Benicio del Toro (Benny Dalmau)

Benicio del Toro first made his mark appearing on the television show Miami Vice and in the NBC miniseries Drug Wars: The Camarena Story (1990). But it wasn’t until his roles in Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) and as a Mexican police officer in Steven Soderbergh’s 2000 hit Traffic that he appeared on the radar of mainstream filmgoers. Del Toro has followed with a number of subsequent commercial films, including Sin City (2005) and as Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara Soderbergh’s 2-part epic Che (2008).
