Calling Philadelphia’s children and teens: This year, Summer Reading at the Free Library has a big challenge just for you! We dare you to read as much as you can all summer long so that, together, we read a whopping total of 20 million minutes! Camps and Other Groups |
Summer camps and other groups may participate in Summer Reading at their camp site. Library staff can make site visits and present a library program, or groups can schedule visits to their neighborhood Free Library location.
All of the activities are free and open to the public. Please visit any neighborhood Free Library location, the Parkway Central Library, or the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped to participate in Summer Reading. Summer Reading Online |
Summer Reading Online is available all summer for everyone to participate! Kids, teens, and adults can click on their link in the tabs above to participate. Write book reviews for a chance to win prizes! Once you submit a review you will automatically be entered to win. The Summer Reading Online program begins June 1st through August 31st, 2013.
