In this season of uprisings, cries for justice, and calls for unity, Philadelphia Poet Laureate Trapeta B. Mayson and Youth Poet Laureate Mia Concepcion organized nine Philly poets to write a collaborative "Ode to Unity and Dissent." The poets each wrote and recorded their own verses on this theme, which was unified into a new poem made up of many voices. 

Join Monday Poets for a special reading of the collaborative poem "An Ode to Unity & Dissent," which marks this year in our city and country through the shared power of verse. The poets will read their contributions to the Ode as well as other poems from their own work.
