Baking Swaps and Strength Building from Home

It’s a new year, and while improving your health and wellness may be on your list of resolutions that doesn’t mean you need to completely cut out treats from your life! In this program, we will show you how to make the most out of your time in the kitchen with a few tweaks to your normal routine. Alex Evenson, nutrition educator with Philabundance, will be providing some healthy baking swaps to lighten up and enhance the nutritional value of your recipes. Karen A. Wertheimer, a group fitness instructor, will then demonstrate how you can make the most of kitchen downtime by adding in exercises using common household items. Join Philabundance and the Culinary Literacy Center for this workshop that will have you feeling better than ever in the kitchen!!
