Enforced social isolation resulting from the pandemic threatens to leave local seniors more disconnected than ever before. To help combat the potential stress of this isolation, Parkway Central Library’s Senior Services and ART-LIT departments have collaborated with Moore College of Art & Design's Writing Program to offer underconnected seniors an opportunity to engage in meaningful intergenerational conversations with Moore’s students by telephone. Participating seniors will be paired with students for six weekly discussions around a series of predetermined questions. At the conclusion of the exercise, students will translate the experiences into a creative writing piece for the Care Crisis Zine, a collaborative online zine among five different courses at Moore: https://carecrisis.wordpress.com/
