Flatbreads are a staple found on tables across cultures. Lavash, pita, injera, arepas, and pizza are some of the many different kinds of flatbreads eaten throughout our city, and our world! What are some flatbreads that you can think of, have eaten before, or that you would like to try? Please join members of the Nourishing Literacy team as we prepare a few flexible variations of this recipe with pantry ingredients.
Sharp tools are not required for cooking along in welcoming our youngest cooks to the kitchen counter with us. Guests can participate by cooking with us or by watching along and joining in the conversation as we cook. An optional ingredient list will be sent two days before the event, with the ability to participate in the cooking activity with only flour and water on hand.
