The Free Library of Philadelphia’s Culinary Literacy Center and Education, Philosophy and Religion Department are proud to partner with Interfaith Philadelphia for an evening of cooking, conversation, and community building!
Spring is a special time of year. From longer days, to warmer weather, and a number of religious holidays, there is a lot we can celebrate, reflect on, and learn throughout the season. In this spirit, we hope you will join us as chef and South Philadelphia Crafting Community Cookbook contributor Shayla Dorsey leads us in a virtual cooking demonstration. After the demo we will enjoy our delicious creations over guided conversation, exploring the ways food, culture, and faith intersect, and celebrating the rich cultural and religious diversity in our region.
All are invited to this FREE program, but you must register. Registrants will receive a Zoom invitation and an ingredient list before the event. We can’t wait to see you there!
