Take your baking skills to the next level with award winning Pastry Chef Monica Glass!
Calling all home bakers! Join us for this special seasonal class where you will learn essential baking tips and techniques to improve your skills while creating a delicious strawberry shortcake from scratch. Award winning pastry chef Monica Glass will guide you step by step as we create flaky biscuits, a fresh strawberry filling, and the best ever whipped cream- all from the comfort of your home kitchen!
In this class, we will demonstrate how to measure ingredients using a baking scale to improve the quality of your bakes. While not required, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a pro if you are new to using a digital scale in the kitchen.
Tickets for the program are $20 per household and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Participants will receive a grocery and equipment list a week prior, for those who would like to cook along. All proceeds from ticket sales go towards supporting the Culinary Literacy's Center programs for youth, neighborhood engagement, and English language learning.
