Oftentimes we approach our job search as drudgery, especially when we feel a lot more comfortable applying in person rather than navigating the sea of options online. But with all the resources at our disposal, job searching is a lot like online shopping. Trying to find that perfect item online is a lot easier than hoofing it all across town. The same goes for your job hunt.
Let's find out the best places to go:
Instead of King of Prussia, Macy's, or Build-a-Bear we're going to check out Indeed.com, USAJOBS.gov, or Idealist.org
Find what we are looking for:
Instead of material, price, color and size we are going to look at commute, salary, hours and experience level.
And most importantly we want to make sure it fits:
Instead of seeing if it's too revealing, too tight or if it just looks cheap we'll be checking the duties, the minimum requirements and the benefits.
Hopefully at the end of this short presentation you'll know your options and how to find the job that fits just right!
