This event is designed for school-aged children and intergenerational groups and will be streamed to Facebook Live.

Rice is always in the Culinary Literacy Center kitchen classroom! It is a versatile, universal ingredient that can be prepared in so many different ways!

Join us as we celebrate and learn about rice. We will share some of our favorite recipes, some that are sweet, and some that are savory! Guests are encouraged to join as viewers, or to cook along with us for some or all of what we will be making!

This event is part of our Books & Cooks series, a collaborative project between the Parkway Central Children's Department and the Nourishing Literacy team. In addition to cooking with rice, we will have some stories and activities around the theme of rice and cooking!
