The One Book, One Philadelphia 20th Anniversary Quilt Celebration is a culmination of the creative and ingenious work of Ms. Frances Conwell, co-founder of Sisters Interacting through Stitches, in collaboration with the Wynnefield Library, community members, and partners including the Friends of Wynnefield Library, Wynnefield Residents Association, and Wynnefield Cultural Center Advisory Council. 

The quilt incorporates artistic expressions of each One Book selection from 2003 to this year’s featured title, My Broken Language by Quiara Alegria Hudes. The finished quilt will be on display at the celebration, along with a video highlighting the process involved in creating the quilt, featuring interviews with participating artists. A celebratory cake and light refreshments will be served.
