The Trinidad North Steel Drum Band will perform on the day after the Summer Solstice and will  "welcome you to the islands".  This is a family friendly event which will introduce some background on steel drums and their role in the culture of Trinidad.  David Geddes, is a master steel drum maker.

Stories, crafts and food trucks begin at 5:00 p.m, live music will start at 6:00 p.m.

This program will take place outside on the porch, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Event will take place rain or shine. If weather is really bad, the band will move inside the library.  Patrons would then be able to eat inside, in the "living room".  The vegan ice cream would also relocate inside. Bring your umbrellas!
