Teen Reading Lounge is an award-winning, nontraditional book club for teens ages 12-18. Teens help to create the reading list for the program and, working with trained facilitators, to design creative and civic engagement projects that bring big ideas to life.
The current session takes place Wednesdays, June 22 through August 10. Participants will be reading The Darkness Outside Us by Eliot Schrefer.
Youth ages 12-18 must register for this program. Register Here. Please contact the Field Teen Center at (215) 686-5395 or teencenter@freelibrary.org with questions.
Teen Reading Lounge is made possible in part by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries. Additional support provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities and generous individuals, foundations, and corporations. You can learn more at pahumanities.org.
