Walking The Tight Rope: Covering Pennsylvania Politics in Contentious Times
This is a Zoom program sponsored by Central Senior Services
Julia Terruso covers politics and elections for the Philadelphia Inquirer. While she has been a professional journalist for ten years, doing her job has never been as difficult and challenging as it is now. A growing number of Keystone State residents believe that the mainstream media simply lies about the events they cover while actively engaging in a conspiracy to defeat some candidates while working to elect others. This presentation will focus on the pleasures, frustrations and special obligations of covering PA politics in 2022.
