The Junk Drawer String band is composed of odds and ends of the Philly Bluegrass and Old-Time scene. The Junk Drawer Band delivers a exuberant performance that combines powerful vocals with virtuosic strumming and picking, plus a rubberband ball and a couple of buttons.  The band includes contradance fiddler Cecelia Tannous-Taylor, Midnight Flyer banjo player Andy Davis, Red Tail Rounders guitarist Austin Alfano, and Randee "Ray" Drezner (formerly of The Chedder Boys and bandleader of the local Joni Mitchell tribute band). 

This program runs from 5:15 - 6:30 p.m, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Chestnut Hill Library.
