In celebration of Philadelphia hosting the 2025 American Library Association's Annual Conference, we are hosting a Special Collections Open House in the Print and Picture Collection.

Visit us on the second floor of Parkway Central Library to see selections from the Free Library's Special Collections. Drop by anytime between 10 AM to 4 PM on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28 to see material from the Print and Picture Collection, Map Collection, Edwin A. Fleisher Collection of Orchestral Music, the Sheet Music Collection, the Free Library Archives, and Government Publications.

While you are here, be sure to check out the Second Floor West Gallery's exhibition Go Birds: Appreciating Our Avian Friends, which features works from the Children's Literature Research Collection, Government Publications, the Map Collection, and the Print and Picture Collection.

You can also visit the Third Floor of Parkway Central Library at 11 AM for a tour of the Rare Book Department, Children's Literature Research Collection, and Theatre Collection.
