Join pastry chef Peter Scarola from R2L Restaurant and Alan Kaufman of Shibumi Farm for a closer look at how to make savory pastries using simple, seasonal ingredients. Learn about the techniques in use at Shibumi Farm, a local mushroom growing operation that has been widely recognized for its speciality varieties available at markets and in restaurants throughout the region. Enjoy several takes on hearty pastries and come away prepared to make your own at home. Tickets are $15 per person. Preregistration is required via Eventbrite.
