West Oak Lane Library

Silhouettes are backlit pictures of people, objects or scenes, which have been cut from black paper and mounted on a white background.  They became very popular during the mid-18th century.  We'll learn about Moses Williams, and present-day silhouette artist Kara Walker, then participants will create their own. Space is limited and registration is required.
