ARTZ: A Remarkable Philadelphia Organization

Tue, January 23, 2018 2:00 P.M.
Philadelphia City Institute

ARTZ Philadelphia strives to expand the quality of life for people with dementia and also for their caretakers. It provides opportunities for self-expression and building self-esteem by connecting people living with dementia with artists, cultural organizations, and each other.

Susan Shifrin, Ph.D., the director and founder of the Philadelphia non-profit, will explain the ARTZ Philadelphia program and describe volunteer opportunities for artists and non-artists.

This program is co-sponsored by Friends in the City (FitC) and the Philadelphia City Institute Library. It will be held in the meeting room on the library's lower level and we regret there is no elevator.
