Summer Reading Event

Fun with Fiber and Knitting

A fun  introduction to fiber arts for Teens where participants will learn how to make pom poms, tassles, twisty cords and how to finger knit, before progressing to needle knitting.

This is a free, drop-in program taught by volunteers and instruction will be free of charge. All supplies will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own set of needles if they have them. To prepare for the sessions, it is recommended that participants visit the site: and practice the projects in the Fun with Fiber section prior to attending the first session. The group will meet on the second floor of the library in the Humanities Department.
