Nonprofit Budget Best Practices

This program will discuss best practices for creating a budget for you nonprofit organization. We’ll talk about both operating and program budgets and provide examples of each. We will cover what you should consider when creating a budget such as: project type, type of budget, data and program needs, and accuracy. Financial statements and compliance and standards will also be discussed. Participates will walk away with templates and tips to help them create a budget that fits the needs of their nonprofit.
About the Presenter
Chanell Hanns is a Finance and Operations Management professional. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Bucknell University, a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Delaware, a Master’s Certificate in Six Sigma –Financial Services from Villanova University and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from LaSalle University. Chanell has more than a decade of management and leadership experience in financial operations at public, private and nonprofit organizations.
