Philadelphia Flute Quartet

Please join us in the Parkway Central Music Department for a free concert!. The Philadelphia Flute Quartet will be appearing for a special concert of music for multiple flutes. They will perform newly discovered pieces from the library’s vast collection of chamber music. Works by Marc Berthomieu, Vaclav Nelhybel, David Uber, Cynthia Folio, Louis Anthony deLise and others will be featured. The concert is Saturday November 10th at 2pm.
The Philadelphia Flute Quartet is a professional ensemble now in its third season dedicated to the performance of music for multiple flute, educational presentations and ensemble coaching. Core members of the quartet include flutists Kathleen Brown, Christine Hansen, Anne Levinson and Thomas Meany.
