CIVIL WAR MEDICINE: WHAT WENT RIGHT

Wed, January 23, 2019 6:30 P.M.
Philadelphia City Institute

The American Civil War marked the violent birth of modern medicine. One million casualties would change the face of health care forever.

Carole Adrienne Murphy is the Writer/Producer of a four-part documentary series, "Civil War Medicine", now in production. She is a native of Center City, Philadelphia.

This program is co-sponsored by Friends in the City (FitC) and the Philadelphia City Institute Library, and will be held in the meeting room on the library’s lower level. We regret there is no elevator.
