Chinese Brush Painting- RESCHEDULED

Sat, October 20, 2018 1:30 P.M.
Northeast Regional Library

Learn the art of brush and ink painting - - a unique art form with a long history. This special three hour workshop will include a brief introduction to the basic concepts and history of Chinese art followed by a demonstration of the Brush and Ink technique. Following the demonstration, participants will have the opportunity to create their own brush/ink painting on rice paper.

No experience is necessary and all supplies will be provided. However, space is limited and pre-registration is required. Please call (215) 685-0512 to register.

In addition to being involved in technology, Dr. Wang is an artist and art educator who learned Chinese painting at a very young age from his father, a Chinese art master. His artwork combines his teaching experience and family heritage to present the beauty and liveliness of this ancient art form.
