Author Talk: Marjorie Jones

Marjorie Jones will present her book In the Cards: Murder and Magic in the Library (A Frances Yates Mystery).  The book features renowned proponent of the Hermetic Tradition and martyred priest Giordano Bruno, British historian Frances Yates who employs her unique scholarship and the ancient tradition of Tarot to solve a murder and theft of a rare volume at the renowned London library, where she has been a resident scholar for decades.

Marjorie G. Jones is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law, the Graduate Faculty of the New School and Wheaton College, MA. 

This program is co-sponsored by Friends in the City (FitC) and the Philadelphia City Institute Library, and will be held in the meeting room on the library’s lower level. We regret there is no elevator.
