Join Chef Clara Park in learning and practicing knife skills and techniques, chopping it up in the kitchen! Beginners and more experienced cooks are all welcome! After going through a variety of cuts, Chef Clara will demonstrate how to use the cut vegetables to create two warming and comforting soups, chicken noodle & vegetarian mushroom, which students will be able to enjoy at the end of class.
A multi-passionate, and multi-talented woman, Clara Park has a variety of training and experience within the field of food and cooking, as well as in the worlds of social and physical sciences. Some of her claims to fame include becoming a Chopped champion, taking the win for the best burger in Philly with her original Korean BBQ burger, and eating live octopus with Anthony Bourdain.
Her experience is expansive with restaurant stints including Gary Danko in SF, Redd in Napa, momofuku ko in NYC, and Le Moulin Bregeon in the Loire Valley, France. Chef Clara loves working with home cooks, helping individuals to gain their confidence and expertise in the kitchen. Soup's on for a night of knife skills!
