South Philadelphia Book Fiesta! Guided Art Walk to Chew Rec Center
Queen Memorial Library
Explore the cultural and linguistic diversity of South Philadelphia as you travel between libraries and other locations for a day of fun family activities. Visit us from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. and discover what your neighborhood library will offer for this especial event!
From 1-3pm at Queen Memorial Library there will be opportunities to meet local firefighters and police, touch a fire truck, meet a police dog, get safety resources, have your face painted, and enjoy light refreshments in our outdoor courtyard. At 3:15 a guided art walk will commence through the Point Breeze neighborhood to Chew Recreation Center, where there will be a BBQ, games, music, storytime, and giveaways, including free books and Fresh Grocer gift cards. All are welcome!
