Central Senior Services at the Parkway Central Library offers a variety of programs to help you thrive at any age. You can count on us to help you find reliable resources for maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. Get useful information about estate planning or filing for Medicare. Join us for one of our regular workshops to learn a new skill or reinvigorate interest in an old hobby.
We also present free public programs designed for lifelong learners. Become inspired during a seminar or take part in a lively book discussion. Find camaraderie playing bridge or learn how you can become more involved in your community through an exciting volunteer opportunity. We can even provide you with additional computer assistance so that you can email your grandchildren or use the internet to keep updated on the latest events. Of course, you can always visit us just to relax and explore our growing collection of large-print books, leisure magazines, and classic films—some things just get better with time!
Central Senior Services is generously funded by the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation, the Joseph Kennard Skilling Trust, and federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries.
