This Book May Make You Do Things! is a colorful collage picture book that engages both the reader and the listener. The words come alive in this movement adventure that is sure to keep children entertained while reading and exploring just how fun moving can be.

The deal is , whatever this book makes the reader do, the listener has to do it too! There will be freezing, then melting all the way to the ground, scratching and uncontrollable itch, and twirling until you’re so dizzy you just have to sit down. Prepare to jump, sneeze, run, and wiggle your way through the pages!

Thembi Palmer is committed to promoting literacy by developing a love of reading and books in young children, pre-K through 4th grade. She collaborates with Philadelphia schools, libraries, museums, parks, recreation centers, and literacy organizations.
With 20+ years experience in early childhood education, Thembi creates engaging, interactive storytelling sessions. She began Imagine More: Story Adventures to inspire, support and provide resources for parents/caregivers to help children get excited about learning to read.
As an author, Thembi believes the combination of interactive stories, music, movement, and learning through play, inspires a time of exploration and discovery, creating a unique storytelling experience.
