Meet Glenda Armand and Kim Freeman, authors of Ice Cream Man!

Join us for a special visit with authors Glenda Armand and Kim Freeman who will share their book, Ice Cream Man:  How Augustus Jackson Made a Sweet Treat Better.  Augustus Jackson was a Philadelphia native and is known as the Father of Ice Cream!
Glenda is the author of picture books and chapter books.  She writes contemporary fiction, historical fiction and biographies.  Through her writing, she introduces children to exceptional but little known figures in American history.  Kim Freeman is a children's book writer who enjoys writing books that inspire children to follow their dreams.

This event will take place in the Montgomery Auditorium, on the Ground Floor.
