Augustus Twintig | The Clock Without a Face with co-authors Eli Horowitz and Mac Barnett

Sat, May 22, 2010 2:00 P.M.
Parkway Central Library

Cost: FREE

Twelve (real) emerald-studded numbers from the (fictional) Emerald Khroniker clock—each handmade and one-of-a-kind—have been buried across the United States. These treasures will belong to whoever digs them up first. The question: Where to dig? The answer: Clues are hidden in the detailed drawings of the 13 floors of Ternky Tower in The Clock Without a Face, online at gustwintig.com, and at author appearances! The hunt is updated in real time on the authors’ Twitter feed, @GusTwintig. Co-author Eli Horowitz edits and designs books and journals for McSweeneys; Mac Barnett is the author of the acclaimed children’s books The Brixton Brothers: The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity, Billy Twitters and His Blue Whale Problem, and Guess Again!
