Anne Enright won the Man Booker Prize for The Gathering, “a moving splendor of a novel” (Boston Globe) that follows three generations of an Irish family assembled for the funeral of a wayward scion. Acclaimed for their gritty realism, her other novels include The Wig My Father Wore, The Green Road, and The Forgotten Waltz, winner of the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. Dubbed in 2015 the inaugural Laureate for Irish Fiction, Enright is also the author of three short story collections and a book of nonfiction. In Actress, the daughter of an Irish theater legend reckons with inherited wounds and complicated personal history.

No one will be admitted into the auditorium for the Enright event after 6:15 p.m.
