Battle of the Bard:
A Shakespearean Sweet Sixteen

The Battle of the Bard is a throwdown for the ages—or at least for the 450 years since the great William Shakespeare was born. We’re pitting some of his most beloved creations against one another, comedies vs. tragedies, in order to determine Philly’s favorite Shakespearean character. Each round, vote for your favorites below to see who the last man or woman (or bear?) standing will be. It’s March Madness, Shakespeare style!

She was just too cunning for the competition: Lady Macbeth has slashed Puck quite handily to become the champion—or should we say, Queen—of our Shakespearean showdown! Many thanks to all who voted for their favorites!
