Smile for Early Readers

A smile is worth a thousand words … and, thanks to Wells Fargo Bank, $1!

Wells Fargo’s Smile Campaign launched June 18, offering $1 to benefit the READ! by 4th initiative managed by the Free Library for every smiler who walks by its doors at 123 S. Broad Street.

To cash in on your smile for kids across the city, simply flash your pearly whites for one of the two large, interactive video screens. For each smile that is captured, Wells Fargo will donate $1 to READ! by 4th, a city-wide campaign aimed at doubling the number of children entering fourth grade reading on grade level by 2020.

The campaign will run until August 21, 2015 or until 20,000 smiles have been donated—whichever comes first.

Be sure to take a photo of your smile with the hashtag #smile@WellsFargo to post on social media. And remember to tweet @FreeLibrary and tag your Instagram pics with @FreeLibrary!

Go smile and support early childhood literacy!
