Join the Free Library for #FLPNoShameNovember!

Last year, the Free Library introduced an interactive social media and digital campaign during the month of November in which we encouraged one another to stop hiding the covers of our books and hunching over our Kindles because of presumed embarassment about what we're reading, watching, or listening to. To shed the "guilty-pleasure" stigma, we proudly shared those pleasures throughout the campaign, from books to movies to music and more - in hopes that we could encourage our audience to feel pride in what they love, too!

Well, it was so much fun, we're back for another year of #FLPNoShameNovember!

All this month, we'll be sharing blog posts written by staff members right here, as well as photos on our social media accounts, taking a look into the genres we love and why we love them. In addtion to recognizing and celebrating the countless preferences of the people who make use of the Free Library's diverse variety of materials, we hope to encourage use of our materials to find those favorites, whether print or digital, from ebooks and audiobooks on Overdrive, to streaming videos on Hoopla and e-magazines on Zinio.

Anyone is welcome to participate in #FLPNoShameNovember by using the #FLPNoShameNovember hashtag on social media - we'll even share our favorites! In addition, members of the Library staff will curate a book list of the now-shameless titles that show up during the campaign.
