Attending video meetings has become a necessity for many of us these days while working from home, taking an online class, or keeping in touch with friends and family. Zoom is a popular web conferencing software platform for online meetings that you might need to use. The Free Library has several databases that provide instruction on how to use Zoom.
GCF LearnFree features tutorials for essential skills like reading, career planning, and computer literacy. They also have a tutorial for Zoom beginners. It provides background on what Zoom is, how to get a Zoom account and use it, and possible security issues you may encounter with this tool.
For more in-depth training on Zoom you can go to Lynda.com, which has thousands of video courses taught by experts in business, technology, and creative fields. They offer a one-hour course on how to run a meeting using Zoom. It covers many useful features, such as how to schedule, moderate, and participate in meetings. The course also teaches how to adjust settings, share documents with meeting participants, and create breakout rooms.
