Free Library Youth Services is excited to announce a new Summer Camp Challenge season!
Are you working with the youth of Philadelphia at a camp program this summer? The Free Library is here to help Philly kids prepare for the future by becoming strong readers and learners. All it takes is 60 minutes of reading or literacy activities per day added to your camp’s program.
In 2021, we are happy to offer the full Summer Camp Challenge experience to camps who are in-person, virtual, or using a hybrid model.
Summer Camp Challenge Toolkit
We make it easy: camps that register for the Summer Camp Challenge Special Collection Kit will receive read-aloud and independent reading books, games, and other resources, along with staff training and activities to use in their programming. This year, the full kit will be available to all registered camps at a specially priced rate.
Check out the selection of Read Aloud titles that this year’s registered summer camps will receive.
We want all camps to be able to participate in Summer Camp Challenge. Scholarships are available! To inquire, please email summerreading @ freelibrary.org.
The registration deadline is April 30, and space is limited, so register online today!
