I’m a dog person (but hey, I love cats too!). I love all animals, really, but I do have a soft spot for dogs: big or small, young or old, even the cranky ones. Dogs never fail to make me feel better. Whenever I’m on a walk, I ask passing humans if it’s okay for me to greet their dogs.
I’ve blogged about dogs in the past, and I figured it was time to do it again—this time in honor of National Dog Day!

With perseverance and patience—and help from an enticing tennis ball—a tentative friendship begins. But it’s not until a raging storm forces the two together that a joyous and satisfying friendship takes hold. Guojing poignantly explores how trust doesn’t always come easily, but how, over time, and with kindness and determination, forever love can grow.
