Virtual
How did slavery shape the idea of race in the United States, and how did it affect African Americans in the decades after it ended? Discover how the enslavement of Black men, women, and children laid the groundwork of how race is often thought of today.
This workshop is the first in a series of workshops preparing participants for this year’s fifth annual Social Justice Symposium, which will take place on Saturday August 1. This workshop is open to students age 12-20 and registration is required.
