VIRTUAL Beyond the Buck: Transformative Practices in Growing Your Individual Donor Base
Virtual
This program is part of the Regional Foundation Center's Diversify Your Funding Series.
How does your organization identify and engage potential donors? What about connecting with existing donors? Do your processes feel a little stale? Forced? Awkward?
In "Beyond the Buck," we'll identify best practices in growing and sustaining a robust individual giving program for your organization. Get ready for a hands-on, reflective 90 minutes, when we'll explore our own relationships to fundraising (and giving!) and practice making asks.
Note: This workshop will be most helpful for organizations that already have at least some (however small) individual giving program, as it is focused on how to grow that program, not early-on prospect research.
This program is presented by Emily Wyner. Emily is a skilled facilitator who finds joy and meaning in building capacity with and within nonprofits, co-ops, and community organizing groups. She is the founding partner of Philadelphia-based consultancy Humblebee, the Co-op Development Administrator at Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance, and an adjunct faculty member at Temple University, where she teaches courses in community development and nonprofit management. Emily is also a trained improviser and board member with the South Philly Food Co-op, a start-up community-owned grocery store in the neighborhood she is proud to call home.
This program is free but advance registration is required as space is limited. Please register online here. Zoom instructions will be emailed upon registration.
