In April, the Regional Foundation Center is pleased to offer two workshops for individuals who are thinking of starting a nonprofit organization. On April 20 we will offer Is Starting a Nonprofit Right For You? This session will be followed by Fiscal Sponsorship 101. 

During this session, learn about an efficient alternative to getting your own 501(c)3. Fiscal sponsorship means you can use another organization’s 501(c)3. Many fiscal sponsors also provides additional back-office services so you can focus on your mission. Learn about how fiscal sponsorship works, who provides it in Philadelphia, what it costs, and what to expect when using a fiscal sponsor.

This workshop is presented by Tivoni Devor, Director of Growth and Engagement at the Urban Affairs Coalition.
